AI can make fundraising faster.
It can research hundreds of investors, analyze a pitch deck, surface portfolio conflicts, prepare you for meetings, draft outreach, summarize conversations, and help you understand where your pipeline is breaking.
But it cannot make your company fundable.
And it cannot answer the most important fundraising questions for you:
Should you raise at all?
How much should you raise?
What should that capital allow you to prove?
Which investors actually make sense for your company?
Why should any of them care?
That distinction matters more in 2026 than ever.
The venture market looks exceptionally strong at the headline level. Global venture funding reached $425 billion in 2025, with roughly half going to AI-related companies. But that capital was highly concentrated: five companies alone accounted for about 20% of all venture funding that year. Source: Crunchbase
The concentration became even more extreme in the first half of 2026. Crunchbase reported $510 billion in global startup investment, while OpenAI and Anthropic alone represented 43% of that total. Source: Crunchbase
A booming venture market does not mean fundraising is easy. AI can improve your process. It cannot remove the need for judgment.
