Meet Pablo
Pablo Fernández Álvarez is an entrepreneur, investor and record-breaking open-water swimmer. He has built companies that have collectively generated €1 billion in revenue, raised €600 million in capital and employed more than 1,000 people.
He co-founded Clicars, which became Spain’s leading online used-car platform and was acquired by Aramis Group. Today, he is founder and CEO of Clidrive and chairman of Clikalia and Maisa AI.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Pablo spent a decade at BCG and Santander, where he became the group’s youngest Executive Vice President. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School.
Beyond business, Pablo is a six-time Guinness World Record holder in swimming. His achievements include a 250-kilometre swim that set the record for the longest non-stop ocean swim, earning him nominations for the World Open Water Swimming Association’s Man of the Year and Performance of the Year awards.
Pablo has also invested in more than 100 startups and serves on the boards of Endeavor and the Princess of Girona Foundation.
